A charge you don't recognise
How to work out what a charge is, and what to do if it isn't yours.
Check what it might be
- The name on your statement. Charges appear under our payment processor's name or a neutral billing descriptor, not under Sinfully. Your receipt email shows exactly what to look for. Search your inbox for receipts from Sinfully.
- A renewal. Plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Check Settings, then Plan, for your renewal date.
- Someone else in your home. Check whether a partner or family member used your card.
- Currency conversion. If your card isn't in US dollars, the amount on your statement may differ slightly from the price you saw, and your bank may add a fee.
Still don't recognise it?
Email [email protected] with:
- the date and amount of the charge;
- the last 4 digits of the card;
- the name exactly as it appears on your statement.
We can look up any payment from those details, even if you don't have an account. If the charge wasn't authorised by you, we'll refund it, cancel anything it bought and close the account that made it.
Before you contact your bank
Please email us first. We can usually sort it out faster than a dispute, and the money reaches you sooner.
If your card details may have been stolen, tell your bank straight away as well. They can block the card and send you a new one.
