Who can ask
Anyone. You don't need an account, and you don't need to be the person affected: you can ask on someone else's behalf, or report anything you think breaks our content rules.
What we remove
- A companion that looks like you, or like someone you know or a public figure (“this looks like me”).
- Anything that looks like it shows someone under 18.
- Anything non-consensual, or that shows a real person.
- Anything else illegal, or against our content rules.
- Your copyrighted work, or your name or trademark, used without permission.
How to ask
Email [email protected]. A request form is coming, with a Report link on every companion, photo and clip; until then, email works just as well and reaches the same people.
Send a request
Each button opens an email to [email protected] with the details we need already laid out.
What to include
- What it is: a link, or the companion's name, and which photo, video or message if it's a specific one.
- Why it should be removed.
- A way to reach you, so we can tell you what we did. (You can report anonymously, but then we can't update you.)
We never ask for ID unless we truly need it to act, for example if a likeness claim is unclear and we need to confirm it's you. If we do, we ask only for what's needed, use it only for your request, and delete it once it's settled.
How fast we act
Our targets
- We review every request within 5 business days.
- We remove anything illegal or non-consensual immediately, as soon as we see it.
While we look into a likeness claim, we may take the companion offline as a precaution.
What happens next
- We confirm we've received your request.
- A person on our team reviews it against our rules and the law.
- If it should go, we remove it for everyone: from the companion's profile, from people's chats and collections, and from our storage, keeping only what the law requires us to keep. If a companion resembles a real person, we take her offline for good.
- We tell you what we decided and what we did.
Appeals
If you disagree with our decision, whether you made the request or the content was yours, reply to our email and say why. Someone who wasn't involved in the first decision will look at it again within 5 business days, and their decision is final. You can also use our complaints procedure.
Copyright notices
If you believe something on Sinfully infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with:
- the work you believe is being infringed;
- where it appears on Sinfully (a link, or a description);
- your name and contact details;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised, and that the information in your notice is accurate and you're the owner or authorised to act for them;
- your physical or electronic signature.
If your content was removed after a copyright notice and you think that was a mistake, reply to our email with your counter-notice.
Emergencies
If someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first. To report child sexual abuse material anywhere online, you can also go straight to the IWF or NCMEC's CyberTipline.
