Why we check your age

Everyone confirms they're 18 or older, and in some places the law requires a real age check too.

Everyone: confirm you're an adult

The first time you visit Sinfully, we ask you to confirm you're 18 or older, and of legal age to view adult content where you live. We remember your answer on that device for a year. If you clear your cookies, we'll ask again.

In some places: a real age check

A growing number of places require adult sites to check visitors' ages properly, not just ask. These include the UK, France, and many US states, and the list keeps changing. If you're in one of them, you'll be asked to pass a quick age check before you see anything adult.

The check is run by AgeVerif, an independent age-verification provider. You choose how to prove your age, for example with a selfie that estimates your age, or with an ID document. See What AgeVerif sees, and what we see.

How we know where you are

We use your approximate location (country and, in the US, state), worked out from your IP address. We don't use GPS or ask for your location.

Using a VPN or proxy to get around an age check is against our Terms of Service. If you use one for other reasons, you may be asked to check your age based on where the VPN says you are.

How often you'll be asked

Once you've passed, you won't be asked again on that device for 30 days. If you're signed in, the pass is also saved to your account, so you won't need to repeat the check on a new device while it's valid.

In some countries Sinfully isn't available

A few countries don't allow AI-generated adult content at all. If you're in one of them, the site won't be available to you.
