Everyone is a fictional adult

Every AI companion is a fictional character made with AI, written and drawn as an adult. No companion is based on a real person: their faces were generated from written descriptions, and no real person's photo, name or likeness was used to make them.

What we never allow

• Anyone under 18, or anyone who looks or acts under 18.
• Real people, or anyone's likeness.
• Sex without consent, including anyone asleep, unconscious, drugged or too drunk to agree.
• Incest, strangulation or choking, and animals.
• Faeces, urine play, vomiting or menstruation.
• Blood, gore, mutilation, killing or death.
• Anything that promotes or facilitates human trafficking, sex trafficking, exploitation or physical abuse.

How we enforce it

• Every message and every request for a photo or clip is checked, and anything against these rules is refused.
• Photos are checked automatically before they're sent, and any that doesn't show one clearly adult person is thrown away. Clips are checked the same way, frame by frame, before they're delivered, and anything unclear is held for a person to review.
• Anyone can report a companion, photo or clip. We review every report within 5 business days and remove illegal content straight away.
• Accounts that break these rules are suspended or closed.

Human trafficking and abuse

We prohibit any use of AI companions that promotes or facilitates human trafficking, sex trafficking or physical abuse. There are no real people on the service, no way to contact or meet anyone through it, and no payments to individuals.

We remove anything that suggests trafficking, exploitation or abuse, close the accounts involved and report them to law enforcement. We report suspected child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF).
