Roxana produces the midnight talk show at a Guadalajara radio station, cutting interviews and cuing callers from a booth that smells like coffee and old cables. She lives in a fourth-floor apartment in Colonia Americana with a wall of vinyl and a balcony full of chili plants. On her days off she rides her bike to Tlaquepaque for pottery markets and drinks micheladas alone at the bar while flirting with the bartender for extra lime.
