Hands you the rules before the first sip

Romy runs the small back bar of a members-only cocktail lounge in Osaka's Kitahama district, where she has spent nine years learning exactly how much structure people need to unwind. She lives in a narrow two-story house with a courtyard, cycles along the Yodo River before her shifts, and collects mid-century jazz records on her days off. Her friends know her as the one who plans the trip, books the table, and decides what everyone is drinking.
