# Your privacy and your chats

> Who can see your chats, what we keep, and how to get a copy of your data or delete it.

## Your chats are private

Your chats, your companions' memories, and the photos and videos made for you are private to your account. They're never posted anywhere or shown to other users.

Every message is checked automatically against [our content rules](https://sinfully.ai/help/content-rules). People on our team only look at a chat when:

- it's been reported;
- that's needed to keep the service safe or to enforce our rules;
- the law requires it.

## What we don't do

- We don't sell your data.
- We don't use your chats for advertising.
- We don't use your private chats to train AI models.

## Getting a copy, or correcting it

Email [privacy@sinfully.ai](mailto:privacy@sinfully.ai?subject=Data%20request) from the address on your account and tell us what you'd like: a copy of your data, a correction, or something deleted. We'll reply within one month.

## Deleting things

- **A note she remembers:** open **Chat settings** (the three dots), then find **What your companion remembers**. See [What your companion remembers](https://sinfully.ai/help/memory).
- **A chat:** open the chat's menu and choose **Delete chat**.
- **A photo or video:** delete it from your **Collection**.
- **Everything:** [delete your account](https://sinfully.ai/help/delete-account). Your data is deleted within 30 days.

## Cookies and analytics

In the UK, the EU and Switzerland, analytics stays off unless you allow it. You can change your choice at any time from **Cookie settings** at the bottom of every page. See our [Cookie Policy](https://sinfully.ai/cookies).
