# Why a message, photo or video was refused

> What our checks look for, what happens to your Sins, and what to do if a refusal looks wrong.

Every message, photo and video on Sinfully is checked automatically against [our content rules](https://sinfully.ai/help/content-rules). When something is refused, it's usually for one of these reasons.

## The request touched something we never allow

Companions won't take part in anything involving:

- anyone under 18, or anything that sounds young, such as school settings or "teen";
- real people, including celebrities, or anyone's likeness;
- sex without consent, including anyone asleep, drunk or drugged;
- incest, including step-family;
- choking or strangulation;
- animals;
- faeces, urine play, vomiting or menstruation;
- blood, gore, killing or death.

If a chat heads that way, she'll say no and change the subject. Rewording the same request won't change the answer, and repeatedly trying to get around the rules can get an account closed.

## The photo or video didn't pass its safety check

Every photo and clip is checked before you see it, for example to make sure it shows one clearly adult person. AI image models sometimes get things wrong, so a check may throw away a photo you asked for in good faith. When that happens:

- **your Sins are returned automatically**;
- you can simply ask again, perhaps describing it a little differently.

A clip the check isn't sure about is held for a person on our team to review, rather than refused outright. See [Making short videos](https://sinfully.ai/help/making-videos).

## It looks like a mistake

Automated checks aren't perfect. Ordinary words can occasionally trip them, for instance talking about your own kids or your school days. If a refusal seems wrong:

- rephrase it so the meaning is clear;
- if it keeps happening, email [support@sinfully.ai](mailto:support@sinfully.ai?subject=Refused%20by%20mistake) with roughly when it happened and what you asked. We use these reports to improve the checks.

## Something got through that shouldn't have

Please tell us. See [Reporting a companion, photo or message](https://sinfully.ai/help/flag-content).
