# Language and installing the app

> Choose Spanish or English and add the site to your home screen.

## Interface language

Choose English or Español in the navigation's language menu. This changes interface labels and help articles. Signed-in accounts also save the preference for supported emails. Companion names, your messages, story text and other creator content are not automatically translated.

To change the language your companion uses, ask in the conversation. This is separate from the interface setting.

## Install the app

Open Install app from More. If your browser supports an install prompt, use the button there. On iPhone, open the site in Safari, choose Share, then Add to Home Screen. On other supported browsers, use their install or add-to-home-screen menu.

Installation does not purchase a plan. Notification permission is separate: enable it only if you want companion messages, and turn it off in your browser or device settings whenever you wish.
